The Trial Begins
The courtroom was unusually silent, heavy with tension.
Wooden benches creaked as whispers filled the air. Bethany and Greg stood facing each other like enemies who could no longer avoid the truth.
This was no ordinary trial. This was a reckoning.
A Planned Disaster
“What happened at Larry’s party was not an accident,” the advocate said.
Gasps spread through the courtroom as the accusation landed. Bethany’s lawyer objected, but the judge allowed the statement to stand.
Someone had planned the chaos.
The Hallway Argument
“I saw Bethany arguing with Larry,” Greg testified.
He claimed she was furious, warning that someone would pay for the party. Bethany snapped back, calling him a liar.
The judge’s gavel silenced her instantly.
The Drink
“I saw her slip something into Larry’s drink,” Greg said.
The courtroom erupted in gasps. Larry’s hands trembled as Bethany accused Greg of manipulating everything.
Truth and lies tangled beyond repair.
Used by Both
“You both used me,” Larry said, his voice breaking.
The judge promised Larry his chance to testify. Bethany whispered that she had tried to warn him.
Nothing could undo what was already destroyed.
The Unknown Witness
The judge declared the session over, warning that someone was hiding the truth.
As the courtroom doors opened, fear replaced anger — someone else knew everything.
